During the month of February 2022, Smithsonian Channel aired a 4-part documentary series entitled 1000 Years of Slavery. The show spotlights powerful stories of notable individuals sharing their deeply personal experiences and reflecting on how slavery stained the past, shaped the present, and continues to re-write our future.
